Journal of Climate Law and Sustainable Policy (JCLSP) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute for Climate Law and Sustainable Policy. The journal is committed to advancing interdisciplinary research and critical discussions in the fields of climate law, sustainable policy, and related legal and economic aspects. JCLSP serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to publish and access cutting-edge research that contributes to the development and understanding of legal and policy frameworks addressing climate change and environmental sustainability at both national and international levels.

The journal particularly welcomes original research articles, reviews, and policy analyses that explore topics such as climate justice, green economy policies, international environmental law, environmental policy, as well as land, forest, and climate-related legal studies. With a strong emphasis on academic rigor and ethical publication practices, JCLSP ensures that all submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough double-blind peer review process, in which both authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous to maintain objectivity and scholarly integrity. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject matter, and the final decision on publication rests with the editorial board, guided by the reviewers’ recommendations.

JCLSP is published twice a year, in June and December, and adopts an open access policy to make its content freely available to the public, fostering a wider dissemination of knowledge. The journal also adheres to the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring that all stakeholders involved in the publication process uphold high standards of integrity, transparency, and responsibility.

The Journal of Climate Law and Sustainable Policy (JCLSP) is published under the auspices of PT Solusi Iklim Indonesia, with legal registration Number: AHU-041737.AH.01.30.Tahun 2025, ensuring the legitimacy and sustainability of its publication.
